Armenia should participate in all negotiation platforms, but it is important that one more someone represents the interests of the Armenian side in those negotiations, too. Hayk Mamijanyan, head of the opposition "With Honor" Faction, stated this during Friday’s press briefings at the National Assembly of Armenia—and speaking about the readiness of the Azerbaijani side to resume peace talks in Brussels.
The Armenian opposition MP noted that now, the two main negotiators in these talks represent the interests of Azerbaijan.
"The most important task should be to ensure the presence of the institution of mediators and guarantors. Otherwise, this process just wouldn't make sense. As for the ‘red lines’ of Armenia in the negotiations, today it is hard to imagine that the person who perceives the ‘red line’ solely as a paid parking lot in Yerevan will keep something there; this is the limit of his understanding," Mamijanyan said.
