YEREVAN. – Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan sent a congratulation letter to his newly appointed Greek counterpart Lucas Papademos on Thursday.
“It is an important and responsible mission to accept the office during the crucial period for Greece and Europe, as the world follows with attention to events developing in Greece.
You have implemented effectively your work being the chairman of the Central Bank of Greece and have your serious contribution in the strengthening of the European Central Bank. I believe you will succeed in being PM as well,” the congratulatory letter reads.
Sargsyan wished Papademos power, energy and success to overcome problems that Greece faces.
