PORTO CARRAS. – Armenian men chess team occupied the 4th position at European Team Chess Championship in Greece. Armenians lost to Germans with 1.5:2.5 at finals and yielded the third place to Hungarians, who won Bulgaria 4:0.

Thus, Germany is the first with15 points, Azerbaijan is the second with 14 points, Hungary is the third with 13 points, Armenia is fourth and Russia is the fifth.

Armenian women team ended in a draw with Poland and occupied the 7th position with 11 points. Russia, Poland and Georgia occupied the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
