YEREVAN.-  It’s still too early to speak about next generation Apple TV and iPhone 5,co-founder of Apple, Steve Wozniak told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

He arrived in Armenia to receive the Global Award of Armenian President for Outstanding Contribution to Humanity through IT 2011. Wozniak’s two-day stay included meetings with software engineers and students.

“I can’t give the answer right now”, Wozniak said, speaking about the competition over the next generation TV platform between Apple and Sony.

Speaking of another competition race, between Apple’s latest brainchild iPhone 5 and its close rivals, Windows Phone-enabled devices, he told that Windows actually “was pretty attractive” to him. “I think that they actually have something that is going to be a winner. But my favorite is the iPhone”.

iPad, he thinks, is probably the users’ top choice today. “It’s probably the most popular device in the world right now. However, the phones to speak in and hear the answer are going to become more and more popular right now. But the iPhone is the leader”, he concluded.

Today, Wozniak held a series of occasional signing sessions for eager local computer geeks on their Apple devices, such a sweeping popularity seemingly surprised him.
