A meeting between US, Egyptian and Israeli officials is scheduled for Sunday in Cairo to discuss the reopening of the Rafah crossing in the Gaza Strip, a senior source told Egyptian state TV channel Al Qahera.
Egypt insists that Israel withdraw its troops from the crossing, the TV channel stressed. Israel seized the Gaza side crossing in May during an offensive on the town of Rafah along the enclave's southern border.
