U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien will visit the Armenian capital Yerevan on June 10-12, 2024, the press service of the U.S. State Department reports.

"Assistant Secretary O'Brien will lead a meeting of the U.S.-Armenia Strategic Dialogue, which will review the significant progress made in deepening bilateral relations and discuss next steps. Assistant Secretary O'Brien will meet with senior government officials to discuss U.S. support for a lasting and dignified peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, including using the Alma-Ata Declaration as the basis for border delimitation.  Assistant Secretary O'Brien will also meet with representatives of the business community and engage with civil society,” the U.S. State Department said in a statement.
