Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and James O'Brien, Assistant Secretary at the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs of the US Department of State, had a private conversation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenian at the beginning of the capstone meeting of the Armenia-US Strategic Dialogue in Yerevan, the MFA of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

It was reported earlier that James O'Brien will visit Armenia, from Monday to Wednesday. He will meet with senior Armenian government officials to discuss US assistance for advancing a lasting and dignified peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, including using the Alma-Ata Declaration of 1991 as a basis for border delimitation between these two countries.

O'Brien is scheduled to meet also with representatives of the Armenian business community and civil society.
