YEREVAN. – Armenian Chief Policeman Vladimir Gasparyan said that he forgave Arthur Sakunts long time ago, Police Chief told Armenian News-NEWS.am commenting the lawsuit of Helsinki Civil Assembly Vandzor office against him.
“I do not consider it actual anymore. Moreover, Sakunts should make a conclusion,” Gasparyan said.
The Assembly’s Vanadzor office filed a lawsuit on November 10 against Vladimir Gasparyan. It demanded Kanaker-Zeytun First Instance Court compensation for defaming the organization by Gasparyan.
The lawsuit was based on interviews given by Gasparyan to Hraparak newspaper electronic version and Zinuzh program on October 17 and 15 respectively.
Gasparyan was deputy MOD at that time, while currently he is Chief of Police.
