ANKARA. - Turkey’s main oppositional Republican People’s Party leader (CHP) Kemal Kilicdaroglu criticized Turkey’s PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the statement about the party’s history.

The party leader said that the Armenian Diaspora and the Turkish PM think on the same level, the Turkish Haberx informs.

“If during the near future the PM puts the [Armenian] Genocide issue on the agenda of the Turkish people I will not be surprised,” Kemal Kilicdaroglu said.

Turkey’s PM called the Republican People’s Party to face its history because the Dersim massacres occurred while the Republican People’s Party was in power.

Armenians who survived the 1915 Genocide and had settled in Dersim were massacred for the second time.
