15 people were killed and 60 injured in a collision between a freight train and a passenger train in India, the Press Trust of India reports.
The number of victims may increase.
Among the dead are also the driver and the second driver of the freight train, as well as a guard of the passenger train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed condolences to those who lost their loved ones. The authorities will pay compensation to the families of the victims.
