Armenia is against the Russian-Ukrainian war and supports the territorial integrity of the countries, as well as peace and stability. This was announced by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan at a joint news conference with Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna in Tallinn Thursday—and referring to the question on the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

"Armenia is truly, categorically against the war, and we cannot tolerate it not only based on humanitarian ideas, but also because we ourselves have faced the same destruction in our region. We saw how the [Armenian] civilian population was subjected to forced displacement, how civilian infrastructures were targeted [in Nagorno-Karabakh by Azerbaijan], etc.,” Mirzoyan emphasized, adding that war is always a terrible thing, and Armenia is strictly against war.

The FM stressed once again that Armenia, at the same time, not only supports peace and stability, but also the territorial integrity of countries.

"We can only call on countries to stop military operations," concluded Mirzoyan.
