Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with his Israeli counterpart Israel Katz, Azerbaijani media report.

The sides discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries, international and regional issues, and the current situation around Gaza.

Bayramov emphasized the importance of achieving a ceasefire in Gaza within a short period of time. He informed the interlocutor in detail about the Azerbaijani-Armenian peace process.
