U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Uzra Zeya was in Armenia.

The U.S. Embassy in Armenia informs that during his meeting with Prime Minister Pashinyan, Deputy Secretary Zeya discussed the deepening of Armenian-American relations, including support for Armenia's three-fold reforms: independence, sovereignty, and democracy.

"The United States values cooperation with Armenia in strengthening democratic institutions and an independent judiciary, fighting corruption, and ensuring the rule of law," the embassy said in a statement.
