A lot of restrictions were imposed on Russia during the period when former President Donald Trump was the US leader, but there was a dialog between the countries. This was stated by Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov to journalists, TASS reports.

"You know that under Trump especially nothing good was done for Russia, on the contrary, more and more new restrictions were introduced. But nevertheless there was a dialog. This can probably be attributed to positive elements,” the Kremlin spokesman said, commenting on Trump's words that he had good relations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin during his presidential term.
