Senior Lieutenant Armen Khachikovich Isakhanyan and cadet Armen Karenovich Khachatryan were killed in the crash of a training plane near Yeghvard on July 19. This is stated in a statement released by the Defense Ministry of the Republic.

“The Armenian Defense Ministry expresses condolences to family members, relatives and fellow servicemen,” the statement reads.

A training plane of the RA Air Force crashed in Armenia on the morning of July 19. It went down near Yeghvard. The Armenian Defense Ministry reported that the plane crashed during a training flight.
