The latest polling data shows that Kamala Harris, who may become the Democratic candidate in the US presidential elections, is trailing the Republican candidate Donald Trump, reports The Hill, based on Decision Desk HQ (DDHQ) and The Hill's American on survey averages.

Donal Trump is ahead of Kamal Harris by about 2 percentage points: 47% against 45%. These are nearly the same numbers compared to the those of Joe Biden – 46% to 43.5%.

If independent candidate Robert Kennedy were included in the poll, Trump's lead over Harris would grow to 5.7 percentage points, about 43% to 37%, while Kennedy would hold nearly 6%.
