Thousands of anti-Israel protesters flooded Washington, DC, dying the city’s fountains blood red—and even unleashing maggots as well as other creepy crawlers at a hotel where some of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s delegation stayed ahead of his Wednesday speech to Congress, reports the New York Post.

A video posted to X by the Palestinian Youth Movement showed moving maggots and crickets  scattered across a hotel room table flanked by Israeli and American flags.

“Palestine protestors (sic) manufactured chaos at the Watergate Hotel last night so that Netanyahu, Israeli Mossad agents, and the Secret Service had no peace as they continue to terrorize our people,” the organization posted on X.

The Watergate Hotel confirmed the “unfortunate” insect intrusion in a statement to The Post.

“We took the necessary steps to ensure the property has been sanitized and is now operating as normal,” the hotel added.

Netanyahu is visiting Washington. He delivered an address at a joint session of the US Senate and House of Representatives.
