Russian President Vladimir Putin laid a wreath on the grave of the former President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, the father of incumbent president Ilham, in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, RIA Novosti reports.
Also, the president of Russia laid a wreath at the "Eternal Flame" monument.
Putin traveled to Baku Sunday on a two-day state visit. On Monday, the Russian president and Ilham Aliyev have planned talks, after which a number of documents will be signed.
