Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that peace in the South Caucasus stems from the very interests of the peoples of the region, RIA Novosti reports.
"We proceed from the fact that sustainable peace and stability in the South Caucasus fully stem from the interests of all the countries and peoples of this region," Putin emphasized during the statements on the results of the Russian-Azerbaijani negotiations in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
