Azerbaijan has officially applied for BRICS membership. Aykhan Hajizada, head of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, told this to APA news agency. Some time ago, the Azerbaijani side had expressed its desire to join BRICS.
