One of the initiatives implemented between Armenia and Hungary, which will be of a permanent nature, will enable nearly 1,000 forcibly displaced children from Nagorno-Karabakh to go to a summer camp in Hungary. This was announced at the meeting between the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, Narek Mkrtchyan, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of Hungary, Peter Szijarto, which took place in Yerevan.

Within the framework of this initiative, about 120 forcibly displaced children from Nagorno-Karabakh have already left for Hungary to rest in a summer camp, the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

During their meeting, the two parties discussed the importance of employment, ensuring social justice and assistance measures for the forcibly displaced Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh. In the context of the latter, the interlocutors emphasized the importance of the assistance being provided by the Hungarian government and the willingness to ensure its continuity.

According to Mkrtchyan, especially recently, the expansion of multi-vector ties between Armenia and Hungary shows their mutual interest in raising their partnership to a higher level.
