Albanian Deputy Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Olta Manjani has said that Armenia could serve as a hub between Europe, the Middle East, and Asia due to its favorable geographic and strategic position, Armenpress reports.

Manjani told Armenpress, within the framework of the Yerevan Dialogue 2024 international forum, that Armenia and Albania should build and develop economic ties.

Olta Manjani said Armenia and Albania can learn much from one another and cooperate in IT and digital infrastructures.

In terms of diversification of economy Manjani said that being a landlocked country is also a challenge for Armenia. However, challenges must be turned into opportunities, the deputy minister added.

Manjani said Armenia could serve as a hub between Europe, the Middle East, and Asia due to its favorable geographic and strategic position. She called on the country to make use of it and build infrastructures. Investments in infrastructures can be a turning point for the country’s economy, according to Manjani. Also, the Albanian deputy minister highlighted Armenia’s attention to digitization and IT.
