Minister of Defense of Armenia Suren Papikyan on Thursday met with the Minister of National Defense of China, Admiral Dong Jun, on the sidelines of his visit to China.

During the meeting, the interlocutors underscored the elevated level of relations between the two countries across various domains, including defense. Also, the parties noted the substantial progress in military cooperation in recent years, including the exploration of new domains.

The two defense ministers expressed their commitment to further advancing Armenia-China cooperation, including enhancing high-level interactions between the armed forces of both countries.

Additionally, international and regional security issues were also discussed.
