In order to ensure stability and development in the Caucasus, it is necessary to reach a final peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was stated by the director of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) of Turkey, Ibrahim Kalin, speaking at the II Baku Security Forum, in the capital of Azerbaijan.
Kalin emphasized that a comprehensive peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan is extremely important for ensuring long-term stability in the Caucasus and developing communications along the Azerbaijan-Armenia-Nakhichevan-Turkey-Europe route, including the opening of the “Zangezur corridor.”
