US President Joe Biden's administration has already gotten familiarized with the plan proposed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to end the war in Ukraine and considered it and a plan that can work, US Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, told VOA.

"We have seen President Zelenskyy's peace plan. We believe that it lays out a strategy and a plan that can work. And we need to understand how we can contribute to that by working with all the presidents who will be here in New York [at the UN General Assembly on September 22-23]. We hope to make some progress," said Thomas-Greenfield.

She emphasized that the US always hopes to find a way to peace. This is the goal that President Biden has been working toward in recent years, both in the Gaza Strip and during the war in Ukraine, Thomas-Greenfield added.
