Armenia imports natural gas from Russia and Iran. Some time ago there were announcements from Azerbaijan that in case of establishment of peace in the future, Armenia can import natural gas from Azerbaijan as well. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during the Second Global Armenian Summit Wednesday.

"If we imagine that a transit [natural] gas pipeline passes through the territory of Armenia to Nakhichevan or to Turkey, those options also cannot be ruled out," said Pashinyan.

He noted that there is no energy independence in the world.

"There is no country that is energy independent. We can talk only about energy diversification," said the Armenian PM.
