Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has sent congratulatory messages to the authorities and people of Armenia on the latter’s Independence Day anniversary to be celebrated on Saturday.

In his message address to the President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, the president of Iran expressed hope that in the coming years, the relations between the two friendly and neighboring countries will further deepen in various dimensions, which will benefit both peoples.

Iran was one of the first countries to recognize the independence of the Republic of Armenia, and since that day, both are good neighbors, Pezeshkian said in his congratulatory message to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Also, Pezeshkian happily noted the strong and stable ties between Iran and Armenia, which, according to him, are gradually developing. Also, the president of Iran expressed hope that his country’s relations with Armenia will be further strengthened.
