“Dear Mr. Prime Minister,
On behalf of the people of the United States, I convey our best wishes to you and the people of Armenia on the 33rd anniversary of your country's Independence.
Bound by the deep relationship between our peoples, Armenia and the United States are working together to build a better future, including by elevating our relationship to a strategic partnership. This will facilitate our cooperation on everything from strengthening our security and defense partnership to accelerating our clean energy and trade diversification initiatives.
This strategic partnership will also support Armenia's continued efforts to advance a democratic path through civic action, good governance, rule of law, and anti-corruption measures - values shared by Americans and Armenians alike.
The United States supports Armenia's sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, and its right to determine its own future. We support your continued commitment to achieving lasting peace throughout the region. And we look forward to working with you to continue to shape a future in which everyone can live with dignity, honor, and security.”
