The Armenian authorities and the members of the ruling majority parliamentary faction will take part in the ceremonies of the blessing of the Holy Myron on Saturday and the re-consecration of the Etchmiadzin Cathedral on Sunday, Armenian News- NEWS.am has learned.

But the matter of National Assembly speaker Alen Simonyan's participation in these ceremonies is still being discussed, his spokesperson, Movses Harutyunyan, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Simonyan recently had told reporters that he will attend these ceremonies if he does not go on a business trip during those days. And it became clear Monday that Alen Simonyan's planned business trip to Canada was postponed.
