Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on Tuesday met with Bonnie Jenkins, US Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, within the framework of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The interlocutors discussed the steps being taken towards the development of strategic partnership between Armenia and the US, Armenia’s foreign ministry informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. In this connection, Mirzoyan emphasized that Armenia values the assistance being provided by the US on Armenia’s path of democratic reforms and sustainable development.

Several other matters of mutual interest were discussed, too.
