Armenian foreign minister Ararat Mirzoyan has boycotted the meeting of foreign ministers of the CSTO member countries, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York. This has become clear from the respective posted photo.
Mirzoyan had not attended also the session of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO member countries on June 21 in Almaty, the capital of Kazakhstan.
But today starting at 6:15pm Armenian time, Ararat Mirzoyan will meet with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov.
In February, Armenia announced the freezing of its membership in the CSTO, and then refused to pay its membership fee to this organization.
And on June 12, the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during his address in the National Assembly, did not rule out that Armenia could leave the CSTO in the future.
