The strikes in Yemen and Lebanon show the power of Israel, which is now changing the balance of power in the Middle East. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whose statements were disseminated by the office of the head of the Israeli government, expressed such a view.
"We [Israel] crushed [radical Palestinian movement] Hamas in Gaza, we eliminated most of its chain of command, Netanyahu said in a Sunday night statement. “We forcefully struck [Lebanese Shiite organization] Hezbollah, we eliminated [its leader Hassan] Nasrallah, and we are systematically eliminating the top of his command, including another [assassination] today [September 29] in Lebanon. At the same time, a little while ago, the IDF [(Israel Defense Forces)] hit our enemies in Yemen again. Everyone sees the [long] range [of Israeli’s military capacity], everyone sees the fire over the targets, and everyone sees the price paid by those who attack us,” Netanyahu stated.
According to the premier of Israel, his country is currently experiencing "great, but at the same time challenging times," "waging a war on seven fronts."
“We are changing the strategic reality in the Middle East,” Netanyahu said. “The change in the balance of power brings with it the possibility of creating new alliances in our region, because Israel is winning. Our enemies and our friends are back to seeing Israel as it is—a strong, determined and powerful country," the Israeli prime minister said.
