Armenia is ready to ensure the safety of transportation of people and goods in its territory, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the extended meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, in Yerevan Tuesday.

The premier stressed, in particular, that the claims that Armenia had agreed somewhere in some document that third countries should ensure the security of communications in its territory are a distortion of reality.

The same applies to some comments that Armenia has ever agreed somewhere to some limitation of its sovereignty due to regional communications. Nothing like this happened, and this is also an obvious distortion of reality, Pashinyan said.

According to him, Armenia's obligation in this regard is unequivocal: to guarantee the safety of cargo and vehicles in its territory.

 “And we guarantee it," Pashinyan added.
