On Monday, October 7, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Andriy Sibiga, held bilateral talks with his Slovak counterpart Juraj Blanar, during which it became known that the country would provide 500,000 euros for Ukraine's energy needs. This was reported by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

According to the Ministry, during the meeting the parties discussed key issues on the Ukrainian-Slovak agenda, in particular, further support for Ukraine in the conditions of Russian armed aggression, Slovakia's participation in the implementation of the Formula for Peace and preparations for the second Global Peace Summit.

It is noted that it is planned to purchase energy equipment from one of the Slovak companies with its subsequent transfer to Ukraine.
