The United States and a number of Western countries are trying to interfere in the process of work on the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was stated by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, commenting on the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan.

“As we know, the US and a number of other Western countries are trying to cut into the process of work on the peace treaty. We believe that all the rough work has been done in Moscow,” he said.

The Russian presidential aide noted that by their actions the Westerners want to get into the negotiation process and thus get involved in regional affairs.
