Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan on Tuesday hosted Rolande Pryce, the World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus, the press service of the government of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
During the meeting, the interlocutors reflected on the work being carried out by the Armenian government toward addressing the housing needs of Armenians forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia and providing them employment.
In this context, the Armenian deputy PM emphasized the preliminary framework of the project jointly being developed by the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank—and which plans to implement reforms in housing construction along with the funding by the state support program for housing security of Armenian families forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia. Also an agreement was reached to continue cooperation in this regard in order to finalize the scope of this project in the near future.
The parties exchanged views also on several other priorities of bilateral cooperation.
