Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan positively assesses the results of his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. A broad range of matters were discussed, and specific agreements related to the energy, education, and humanitarian domains were reached. The Armenian PM's spokesperson, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, informed about this on social media.

She added that an agreement was reached that from January 1, 2025, the Border Guard troops of Armenia will also participate in the protection of the Armenia-Iran and Armenia-Turkey state borders, and the service at the checkpoint of the Armenia-Iran state border will be completely performed by the Border Guard troops of Armenia.

Also, PM Pashinyan thanked President Putin for the service performed by the Russian border guards at the checkpoint of the state border between Armenia and Iran since the independence of Armenia.
