Telegram channel Shot caught Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev standing close to each other on the margins of the CIS leaders' summit.
The journalist turned to Aliyev with the question of when it will be agreed, apparently referring to the peace treaty signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Aliyev replied, “Then we will agree on it.”
When the journalist asked the Azerbaijani President a clarifying question: “And when will you agree on it? Is it possible this year?”, he shrugged his shoulders.
When the journalist turned to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Aliyev trailed off.
“Nikol Vovaevich, what do you say?” - the journalist asked.
“I have already put forward my proposal. I think there is enough agreed content to sign right now,” he said.
“Mediated by Moscow?” - clarified the journalist.
Nikol Pashinyan started to walk away from the journalists, and one of them asked: “Isn't that what was communicated about now?”.
“About that,” Nikol Pashinyan replied.
