Taiwan's armed forces recorded 27 aircraft and 9 ships of the Chinese army approaching the island in one day, the Taiwan defense department reports.

In addition, five ships of Chinese state agencies were detected near Taiwan in the past 24 hours.

According to the respective document, 15 aircraft crossed the middle line of the Taiwan Strait and entered the air defense identification zone in the northern, central, and southwestern parts of the island.

Taiwan's military responded by deploying aircraft, ships, and ground-based anti-aircraft missile systems to track these targets.
