Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia sent a congratulatory message to Shigeru Ishiba on his election as Prime Minister of Japan.

The message states, in particular, that Armenia highly values friendly relations with Japan—and based on democratic values and mutual trust.

Also, Pashinyan reaffirmed his readiness to expand bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in domains of mutual interest and invited Ishiba to Armenia in order to further strengthen bilateral relations.

The PM added that Armenia highly appreciates Japan's considerable assistance in the multifaceted development of Armenia, and expressed hope to establish new cooperation programs in the near future—and for the benefit and welfare of the two peoples.
