The third meeting of foreign ministers in the 3+3 format will take place in Istanbul on Friday. Turkish foreign minister Hakan Fidan announced this at a press conference after talks with his visiting Jordanian colleague, Ayman Al Safadi, in Ankara, TRT Haber reports.
"Turkey supports the position that all regional issues should be resolved directly by the countries of the region. We [i.e. Turkey] continue consultations with the countries of the South Caucasus through the regional cooperation platform. The third ministerial meeting in the 3+3 format will take place in Istanbul on October 18. The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Russia, and Iran will participate in the meeting," said Fidan.
