The First Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia and Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, on Tuesday had several meetings within the framework of his working visit to the US.

Asryan met with the Director of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, Mike Miller; the Commander of the Security Support Command of the US Army, Brigadier General Allen Pepper; and the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs, Teresa Guenov, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

During the meetings, several matters related to the current course of Armenia-US defense partnership, upcoming programs, and regional security were discussed.
