An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 occurred in eastern Turkey, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) informed, RIA Novosti reports.
The tremor was recorded at 7:46am local time, 46 kilometers east of the city of Malatya, an at a depth of 9 kilometers.
There are no reports yet on any casualties and devastation.
