Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, during a meeting with visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, expressed the inadmissibility of the expansion of the current conflict in the Middle East and its possible transformation into a comprehensive regional war. This is noted in the statement by the administration of the head of Egypt, after the negotiations with the Iranian FM, in Cairo.

El-Sisi "confirmed Egypt’s position calling for the prevention of the expansion of conflict and emphasizing the necessity of stopping escalation, in order to prevent sliding into a full-scale regional war, which will have serious repercussions on the security and capabilities of all countries and peoples of the region," the statement reads, in particular.
