A meeting between Armenian and Iranian foreign ministers—Ararat Mirzoyan and Abbas Araghchi—was held in Istanbul, reports Tasnim News Agency.

"Minutes ago, the [Iranian] foreign minister met and exchanged views with his Armenian colleague, Ararat Mirzoyan, on the sidelines of the meeting of foreign ministers in the format of the ‘3+3’ platform of regional cooperation in the Caucasus," reads the respective statement.

As reported earlier, the third meeting of the 3+3 South Caucasus regional cooperation platform—comprising Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Iran, and Turkey—was held Friday in Istanbul, Turkey.
