U.S. President Joe Biden said he has details about Israel's expected response to Iran's October 1 missile attacks but declined to share them publicly, Bloomberg reports.

A reporter asked Biden if he understood what Israel would do in response to the attack and when it would happen.

“Yes, and yes again,” Biden said in Germany as he prepared to board Air Force One to return to Washington after a brief visit.

Asked if he would share the information, the US president replied succinctly, “No, and again, no.”

Official Tehran reacted a little later to this statement by the US president.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi warned that whoever was informed of the timing of such an attack or assisted in it would be held accountable.

“Anyone who knew or understood 'how and when Israel was going to attack Iran' and/or provided the means and support for such recklessness should logically be held accountable for any possible causal link,” the Iranian foreign minister wrote on his microblogging site on social network X.
