During Monday’s debates on the regulation of the activities of the border security commission at the meeting of the parliamentary standing committee on foreign relations, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan neither denied nor confirmed the fact of threats from Azerbaijan about the possible resumption of hostilities in the absence of the process of delimitation of the state border in Tavush Province of Armenia this spring.

Grigoryan was reminded that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had told the local residents during border delimitation and demarcation in Tavush that if this process were not carried out, Azerbaijan will resume military operations.

Then the Armenian deputy premier was asked to state whether there really were threats during the negotiations about starting a war.

"As for threats or the content of our discussions, I must ask you to limit yourself to what is there and what was said in the official press releases. I cannot inform anything," said Grigoryan.
