It is very difficult for me to listen to criticism without listening to alternative proposals. You can't imagine how much more useful it would have been if there were a discourse of alternative proposals or models that would curb the risks of our country more and make it more efficient. Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, who is also chairman of the Armenian commission for border delimitation with Azerbaijan, stated this at the end of Monday’s debates on the bill on ratifying the regulation on the joint activities of the Armenian and Azerbaijani commissions on delimitation of the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan at the parliamentary standing committee on foreign relations.

Referring to the statements about future accountability, Grigoryan noted: "You think I don't realize it? But I also understand one thing that if we don't solve our problems, no one will solve them, or a third country will solve them, and I consider that a treachery. Yes. One should have the courage to solve problems, not to delegate them to third powers or third countries, which means exhausting or discounting sovereignty, which is unacceptable for all of us. No one will forgive us for that.

It is not so important whether the border delimitation will be forgiven or not, but the discounting of sovereignty will definitely not be forgiven by anyone. In that sense, understanding everything very well and thanking [you] for caring about my future, I want to say be sure that I don't have any doubts or concerns about it, regardless of what happens."
