The process of delimitation and demarcation of the borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan is the right way to a peace treaty. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday stated this in his address at the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia—and addressing Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

"And the fact that you were able to exchange views with the president of Azerbaijan today is a plus for our event," Putin added.

Also, Putin noted the importance of the logistics projects mentioned by Pashinyan, and emphasized that Armenia's positive attitude towards cooperation with Azerbaijan and other countries of the region is important for Moscow.
