Thirteen countries on Thursday received the status of a BRICS partner country.
These countries are Kazakhstan, Algeria, Belarus, Turkey, Bolivia, Cuba, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Uganda, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam, reports RIA Novosti.
These countries, however, still do not intend to become full BRICS members. The BRICS summit, with the participation of the heads of state, is being held from Tuesday to Thursday in Kazan, Russia.
